Free tool
Free Google review link and QR code generator
Get a link that opens Google's review form for your business, and a QR code customers can scan at the counter. Send the link by text or email, print the code, and make leaving a review a ten-second job.
How it works
Find your business
Type your business name and city, then pick your business from the list. Already have a link? Paste it instead.
Copy your link
You get a link that opens Google's review form for your business. Test it once, then share it.
Download the QR code
Save it as a PNG or SVG, or print a ready-made counter sign for customers to scan.
Where to put your review QR code
Put it where customers are already happy and have a spare moment, not where they are queuing or paying in a hurry.
- A sign by the till or on each table
- Receipts and invoices
- Business cards and flyers handed over with an order
- Packaging, delivery bags and thank-you cards
- The last slide of a presentation or the end of a class
- Your email signature and booking confirmations (as a link)
A code alone gets few scans. Ask in person, then point to the code. Our guide has scripts and text templates for asking for reviews.
Other ways to get your Google review link
From your Business Profile
Sign in to the Google account that manages your business and search for your business name on Google. In your profile, choose Read reviews, then Get more reviews. Google shows a short link (g.page/r/…/review) and, on a computer, a QR code. Paste that link into the tool above to make a bigger QR code or a printed sign.
From your Place ID
Every business on Google Maps has a Place ID. Find yours with Google's Place ID finder, then add it to the end of this address: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=. Or paste the Place ID above and the tool does it for you.
FAQ
Common questions
Once the reviews come in, answer them. Our free AI review reply generator writes a reply in seconds.
Is the Google review link generator free?
Yes, with no signup. You can search for your business 20 times a day, and pasting a link or Place ID to make a QR code has no limit.
Does my Google review link expire?
No. The link is built from your business's Place ID, which rarely changes. Google can change it, for example after a listing is merged or moved, so open your link every few months and check that the review form shows your business.
Does the link work on phones?
Yes. On a phone it opens the review form in the Google Maps app or in the browser. Customers need to be signed in to a Google account to post a review.
Why not just share my Google Maps link?
A Maps link opens your profile, and customers then have to find the review button themselves. A review link opens the review form straight away, so more people finish.
Is this the same as the link in my Business Profile?
Both open the same review form. Google's link (g.page/r/...) comes from the Get more reviews button on your profile; this tool builds a link from your Place ID. Either works, and you can paste Google's link here to make a QR code from it.
Do you store my business details?
No. The business name and city you search for are sent to Google to find your business and are not stored. The QR code is made in your browser.
Can I offer a discount in exchange for a review?
No. Google does not allow incentives such as discounts, freebies or payment for reviews, and can remove the reviews or restrict your profile. Ask every customer, and let them say what they really think.
